Curb Illustration

Our work looks at gestures that could be seen as offensive. Often if you are offended by a gesture you are the one receiving it, whereas if you are trying to be offensive you are the one making it. However this can vary depending on circumstance. By observing people we soon came to realise that language and environment formed a vital context, which would change how the gesture was understood. All of our work is based on those observations, as well as stories we have heard from peers and research we have conducted. We have an interest in 3d interactive work, and use the abstract to question our audience.
